Chameleon and Mr X with "Baby
Girl". Mr x is exceptional , he puts his vocal on the track incredibly
well and with his great style. It gives the song a dance style flavour,
a real afro Caribbean feel.
Peter Miles "Ekisanja" song plus his
attitudes reminds me of back in early 90s, when we were trying to come
through and everyone was brushing us off about our styles that it was
too western.
Sweet kid "Brenda" like his name he
does sweet music. It takes him away from his early days at Happy hours.
Brenda song is a new style with afro beats, with sweet vocals to go with
it.
Paul Kafeero "Kitalo"He one of the
most outstanding songwriters of our generation as far as kadongo kamu
music and African art is concerned. Liked by young and the old audience.
Rocky Giant the instrumentation of
his track "rafiki" lacked that heavy feel but his lyrical sense and
maturity was good. And well done in Luganda and Swahili, he might be one
of best to come out of African music.
